Approve, edit or decline a proposal

What a proposal contains, your three choices at the gate, and what Ella records when you decide.

3 min read
The approval gate is where your judgment meets the crew's work. Every proposal gives you enough to decide without opening five other tabs.
1

Read the proposal

A proposal states what will change, where, and why. It shows the evidence the agents used and any cross-checks that passed or failed. A failed check is called out, not buried.

2

Approve it

Approving releases the action: the message is sent, the record is updated or the booking is made, in your system, under your name. Ella logs who approved it and when.

3

Edit it first

Change the wording, the owner, the date or the amount before approving. The edited version is what goes out, and the edit is recorded next to the original.

4

Decline it

Decline with a short note. Nothing is sent or changed. The note stays with the item so the next person can see why.

5

Work the queue, not the inbox

Items waiting on you sit in one queue. Ella watches it around the clock and raises a hand when something needs a person sooner than planned. How the queue is shared across your team depends on your workspace setup.
