What KnowErgo does, what you need to run a first assessment, and what happens after the score comes back.

2 min read
KnowErgo scores the lifting and posture risk of a job from a short video filmed on a phone. It grades the task against recognized methods, recommends a fix and opens a corrective action for your team to approve.
1

Know what KnowErgo does

Someone films a task on the floor. KnowErgo tracks posture and joint angles frame by frame, scores the task against RULA, REBA, the NIOSH lifting equation and manual-handling methods, and returns a plain-language verdict with recommended fixes.

2

Decide who assesses and who approves

Anyone with a phone can film a task. An ergonomist, safety lead or supervisor reviews the score and approves the corrective action. Who can do what depends on your workspace setup; ask your admin.

3

Run a first assessment

Pick one task your team already worries about. Film a full work cycle from the side, upload it and read the result. This shows you the format of the scores and recommendations before you roll it out.

4

Approve the fix

KnowErgo proposes a change and a re-assessment date. Nothing is opened or assigned until a person approves it. Once approved, the action is tracked to closure like any other safety action.
