Set up your first audit cycle

Pick a standard and a site, confirm the plan KnowComply proposes, and decide who approves findings and actions.

Most teams start with one standard and one site. Here is the order that works. The exact screens vary by workspace setup.
1

Choose the standard and scope

Tell KnowComply which standard applies and which site or process the first audit covers. The checklist is built from the clauses.

2

Confirm the plan

KnowComply proposes dates and auditors based on your calendar and who is qualified. Confirm or change them; nothing is scheduled until you do.

3

Name the approvers

Decide who approves findings becoming actions, and who signs off closure. These are usually the quality or compliance lead and the area owner.

4

Bring in last year's findings

If you have open findings from a previous audit, add them so the new checklist covers them and the actions are tracked in one place.

See your next audit run itself.

Bring one standard and one site. We will show you the audit plan, the findings workflow and the clause-by-clause evidence map.
