FAQ: data sources, limits and approvals
Common questions about where the data comes from, what happens near a limit, and what needs a person.
Do we need connected meters?
No. Connected meters make it easier, but the agent also reads invoices and contractor paperwork, and people can enter readings on a phone.
Does the agent submit anything to the regulator?
No. It drafts reports and notifications and flags the deadlines. A person approves and submits.
What happens when a reading is near or over a limit?
The people you have chosen are notified, and an investigation and corrective action are opened for your approval.
Can we change an emissions factor later?
Yes. Change the factor and the agent recalculates the affected periods. The change is recorded.
Who can see environmental data?
That depends on the roles you set. Site owners usually see their own conditions and readings; EHS leaders see every site.
Bring one permit. See it tracked end to end.
We will load one of your permits, break it into conditions and show how the agent watches the dates and drafts the report.
