Get started with KnowMaintain

Load your assets, invite the maintenance team and run your first work order through the agent.

3 min read
KnowMaintain schedules preventive maintenance, turns inspections and defect reports into work orders, follows up with technicians and keeps your CMMS current. Your team approves; the agent does the chasing.
1

Load your assets

Bring in your asset list from your CMMS or a spreadsheet. Each asset gets one record that its PMs, work orders and inspections attach to. Start with one area or line if you want a small pilot.

2

Invite the team

Invite technicians, supervisors and the operators who report problems. Technicians receive and close work from a phone; supervisors approve and assign.

3

Set your PM schedules

Add preventive maintenance schedules by time, usage or meter reading. If they already exist in your CMMS, they can be pulled in rather than retyped.

4

Run your first work order

Have an operator report a problem with a photo or voice note. Watch the agent draft the work order, approve it, assign it and see it tracked to closure.

See your backlog the way the agent sees it.

Bring a few of your assets and last month's work orders, and we will show you how PMs get scheduled, defects become work orders and the CMMS stays current.
