Run an internal audit and close the findings

From the checklist on a phone to findings, approved actions and verified closure.

An audit in KnowComply is a checklist, a set of findings and the actions that close them. The agent handles the drafting and the chasing; auditors and approvers make the calls.
1

Audit from the checklist

The auditor works through the clause-based checklist on a phone or tablet, recording conformance, notes and photos as they go.

2

Log findings with evidence

Each nonconformity or observation is logged against its clause with the photo and the note. That evidence travels with the finding.

3

Approve the actions

KnowComply drafts a corrective action for each finding, with a proposed owner and due date. The approver confirms or changes them before anyone is assigned.

4

Let the agent chase

Owners are reminded as the due date approaches. Overdue actions are flagged to the approver, not closed quietly.

5

Verify and close

An action is closed only when the evidence is attached and the approver signs it off. The closed finding stays linked to the clause for the next audit.
