Track waste, water, energy and emissions

Where each kind of environmental data comes from, how the agent captures it, and how to keep it clean.

4 min read
Environmental data usually arrives in different shapes: meter readings, utility invoices, waste contractors' transfer notes. KnowEnviro captures each as it happens, so the year-end report is a review rather than a reconstruction.
1

Connect what is already measured

Where water or energy meters are connected, readings arrive on their own. Where they are not, the agent reads the utility invoices you forward.

2

Capture waste transfers

Waste contractors' transfer notes and manifests are read from the paperwork they already send. Each transfer is recorded with type, quantity and destination.

3

Apply emissions factors

Energy and fuel data is converted to emissions with the factors you choose. Change a factor and the agent recalculates.

4

Review the exceptions

The agent flags readings that look wrong, such as a jump against the previous period or a missing month, for a person to check.

5

Keep reduction projects on the record

Energy and emissions reduction projects are tracked alongside the data, so the report shows what was done as well as what was measured.

Bring one permit. See it tracked end to end.

We will load one of your permits, break it into conditions and show how the agent watches the dates and drafts the report.
