KnowOps: frequently asked questions
Common questions about proof, failed checks, warehouses and yards, connectivity and how KnowOps works with other agents.
How does it stop pencil-whipping?
Each step is done at the station on a phone with the proof you chose, a photo, a reading or a second sign-off, and a timestamp. A skipped step shows as skipped and the agent follows up.
What happens when a check fails?
The agent proposes the next action under your rules: a KnowMaintain work order for an equipment problem or a KnowQuality nonconformance for a product problem. A person approves before it is opened, and the result shows back on the handover.
Does it work on the dock and in the yard?
Yes. Receiving checks, load and seal checks, cycle counts and gate check-ins run the same way as line checks, with the same proof and the same follow-up.
What if there is no signal on the floor?
Checks and counts are done on a phone or tablet and sync when back in coverage.
Can cameras create tasks?
If you use KnowLive with your existing cameras, events it detects can create KnowOps tasks and records, so problems surface during the shift rather than afterwards.
Run tomorrow's handover through it.
Bring one line's checklists and last week's handover notes, and we will show you what the agent compiles, flags and carries forward.
