Holds, approvals and the line: common questions
What the agent decides, what people decide, and how operators work with it on a phone.
2 min read
Short answers to the questions teams ask when they start recording checks with KnowQuality.
1
Does the agent put product on hold?
No. It flags the out-of-limit reading and proposes a hold. The quality lead decides, and the decision is recorded.
2
Can operators use it on the line?
Yes. Checks, inspections and NCRs are recorded on a phone or tablet with photos. The details of each form depend on your workspace setup.
3
Who approves corrective actions?
Usually the quality or FSQA lead. You can set approvers per line, site or type of record.
4
What if a CAPA is overdue?
The owner is reminded first, then the approver is flagged. The agent never marks a CAPA done.
Run one line through it.
Bring your pre-op or HACCP checks for one line. We will show you capture on a phone, the NCR, the CAPA and the trace.
