Track insurance expiries and renewals

How the agent reads certificates of insurance, watches the dates, chases renewals and flags lapses before they matter.

Insurance that lapsed unnoticed is the most common contractor finding. KnowContractor reads the dates once and then watches them for you.
1

Certificates are read on arrival

Each certificate of insurance is read for cover types, amounts and expiry dates. You confirm the first few so the agent learns your contractors' formats.

2

Renewals are chased ahead of time

Before a certificate expires, the agent asks the contractor for the renewal and keeps chasing until it arrives. You are told if it does not.

3

Lapses are flagged

If cover lapses, the contractor is flagged and, depending on your rules, held from site until the renewal is received. You decide whether to allow an exception.

4

Everything stays on the record

Old certificates, chase history and your decisions are kept with the contractor for audits.
