Prequalify a contractor and approve them for site

From the document request to gate approval, and what to check before you sign off.

3 min read
Prequalification is the gate everything else depends on. The agent does the collecting and checking; a person decides who is approved.
1

Request the pack

When a contractor is proposed, the agent sends them the list of documents and questions for their contractor type. They reply by email or upload through a link.

2

Check the results

The agent reads each document, extracts expiry dates and cover amounts, and marks each requirement as met, missing or expiring. Gaps are chased without you asking.

3

Review the exceptions

Look at anything the agent flagged: cover that ends before the job does, a missing licence, a safety record that needs a conversation.

4

Approve for site

When everything is current, approve the contractor. If you approve with a gap, record the reason; it stays on the record.

Find out who is on site with expired paperwork.

Bring your current contractor list. We will show how the agent collects, checks and chases, and what it would flag today.
