Report a problem from a phone

How an operator or technician turns a photo, a voice note or a failed check into a drafted work order.

2 min read
The fastest way to keep the CMMS current is to make reporting easier than not reporting. KnowMaintain takes a photo, a voice note or a failed inspection check and writes the work order itself.
1

Capture what you see

On your phone, take a photo of the problem or leave a short voice note. Say which machine or scan its tag if your site uses them.

2

Let the agent draft it

KnowMaintain writes the work order against the right asset, attaches your photo or note, pulls in the asset's recent history and proposes a priority.

3

Failed checks do this on their own

If a checklist or inspection step fails, in KnowMaintain or in KnowOps or KnowFleet, the work order is drafted automatically with the check attached as evidence.

4

Follow your report

You can see whether your report was approved, who it was assigned to and when it was closed. The loop is closed back to you.

See your backlog the way the agent sees it.

Bring a few of your assets and last month's work orders, and we will show you how PMs get scheduled, defects become work orders and the CMMS stays current.
