Compile and acknowledge the shift handover
How the agent drafts the handover from the shift's records, what the outgoing lead edits and how the incoming lead acknowledges it.
The agent drafts it
As the shift ends, the agent assembles the handover from the checks, counts, downtime notes, failed steps, open actions and safety notes recorded during the shift.
The outgoing lead edits and sends
Review the draft, add anything the records do not show and send it. Items not closed stay open and carry forward to the next shift automatically.
The incoming lead acknowledges
The next lead reads the handover, asks Ella "what happened overnight on Line 3?" for the detail, and acknowledges it. Open items become their list.
Managers see the pattern
Items that carry forward shift after shift are visible to supervisors, so a recurring problem gets an owner rather than another handover note.
Run tomorrow's handover through it.
Bring one line's checklists and last week's handover notes, and we will show you what the agent compiles, flags and carries forward.
