Approve and close a corrective action
How corrective actions are proposed, approved, chased and closed with photo proof.
3 min read
Corrective actions are where safety programs usually leak: assigned by email, marked done, never checked. KnowSafe drafts them, chases them and will not close one without proof.
1
Review the proposal
Each action comes with a suggested owner and due date based on the root cause. Approve it as is, or change the owner or date.
2
Let the agent chase
The owner is reminded before the due date and chased after it. Overdue actions escalate to the person you have set for that site.
3
Check the proof
The owner attaches a photo of the finished work. Review it. If it does not show the fix, reject it and the action reopens.
4
Close it
Accept the proof to close the action. The evidence stays on the incident record for audits.
See one of your incidents run through it.
Bring a recent incident report and we will walk through how it would be captured, investigated and closed.
