Facilities — view, add, edit & delete
Manage every site under the company — from viewing the list to adding, editing, or retiring one.
View the facility list
Each row is a real site your company operates, with enough detail to identify it at a glance and search to find it fast as the list grows.
- Facility name — The site or location as your team knows it.
- Location — Where the facility physically sits.
- Admin — Who owns that facility day to day.
Add a facility
Name the facility, set its location, and assign the admin who'll own it day to day. It's available to scope apps, users, and data to the moment it's saved — everything underneath it inherits the setup you give it here.
Edit facility details
Open a facility from the list and update its name, location, or admin directly. The change applies everywhere that facility is referenced — reports, user assignments, and app scoping — without touching anything downstream by hand.
Delete or deactivate a facility
Deactivating hides a facility from active lists and blocks new activity, while keeping its history intact for reporting. Deleting removes it outright, and Knowella flags whether users, apps, or records are still attached before you can confirm. Most closures call for deactivation, not deletion.
Why it matters
Scoping a facility correctly from the start — and keeping its details accurate — means every user, app, and record added underneath it stays separated from the rest of the company automatically, instead of needing to be untangled later.
