Explore — your lanes on a map, in a table and as bubbles
Open the Explore tab and switch between the lane map, the lane table and the bubble view — and what each one needs from your data.
1 · Open the Explore tab
Open the project from Projects and choose Explore in the panel on the right. Map, Table and Bubble sit at the top, with the number of lanes and shipments beside them — 288 and 288 in the walkthrough.
2 · Read the map
The map draws each lane from its origin to its destination. Origins and destinations are marked in different colours, and thicker lanes carry more shipments.
3 · The Shipment lanes card
The card on the map counts lanes, shipments, origins and destinations, and holds the key to the map.
4 · Colour lanes by
Colour the lanes by Volume, Weight or Pallets, with a low-to-high scale underneath. Top lanes lists the busiest lanes with their shipment counts.
5 · Basemap and zoom
Switch the background between Light, Streets, Dark and Satellite, and use + and − to zoom.
6 · Switch to the table
Table lists the same lanes as rows: origin, destination, shipments, weight and pallets. Search by ZIP or city, and click a column heading to sort by it.
7 · Dashes mean missing data
A dash means the source has no value for that column. The walkthrough's file has no weight or pallet columns, so both show dashes on every lane. Click CSV to download all the lanes.
8 · The bubble view
Bubble needs per-shipment weight. If the file has none, it says "No weight data to plot" instead of drawing the chart — add weight to the source file to use it.
